You can also bring your own snacks or order from the restaurant next door. The drink selection is excellent and focuses on sustainability criteria. There are no fixed prices – you pay what you can afford. The atmosphere is fantastic, and I always make sure to stop by when I'm in Stuttgart.
Prepare yourself, this is not a typical café where you can order food! Instead, here you'll find a bar serving drinks like beer, coffee, and local refreshments, along with a refrigerator stocked with an abundance of fresh vegetables and fruit. There's also an assortment of bread available. You're free to help yourself to whatever you'd like and even take some home with you. Additionally, you're welcome to bring your own food to enjoy. During my visit, I opted for some bread, cauliflower, and tomatoes. The only cost is for the drinks, and you can pay whatever you feel is appropriate.
Raupe Immersatt is the first Foodsharing Café in Germany, offering snacks that would have otherwise been wasted. Customers can make a donation for their meals. I am not usually a coffee drinker, so I opted for a hot chocolate with soy milk which was delicious. However, the oat cappuccino from my friend's order was even better. The drinks were served in cute ceramics, and the cafe had a cozy industrial alternative style. The staff was also very friendly.
One of my favorite cafés in stuttgart due to its alternative approach to capitalism. all the snacks they can get here were saved by the foodsharing community before they are thrown in müll. you can also bring your own snacks or order something in the restaurant next door. the selection of drinks is very good and meets many criteria of sustainability. there are no fixed prices they pay. instead they are asked to pay as much as possible for them. the overall atmosphere is simply great and I always try to come by when I am in stuttgart. updated by the previous review on 20210705 updated by the previous review on 20210705
Be prepared, this is not a caffe, where you can order food! there is a bar in which they get drinks such as beer, coffee and regional soft drinks and then there is a refrigerator with mostly overflowing vegetables and fruit. You can take whatever you want, you can take it home. they can also bring their own food. I had broth, steamed cauliflower and tomato. they only pay for the drinks and pay what they want.
