Contribuer aux commentaires30 dollar lunch. Unbelievable horrible experience. I have been here at least 50 times. They never get our nachos correct, no matter how we tell them. Today beats all. The service was horrible. The guy going around seemed dazed and confused. The plates were filthy. The blt was like rubber. The pickle was old. The soup was burnt. Had to get our own refills. My wife didnt even eat her salad. We didn't finish anything on our plates. Terrible experience. The place has lost its touch. Might be out last trip. Update 2023: well we just went back after 5 years hoping to see a change. I have to say there is a management issue. Especially if you read all the other reviews. We are probably done for good. And if you like onions, then these potatoes are for you. Not so much for me though. So sad.
Food was great, so was the sweet tea. Interesting that they put the salad on the plate rather than a separate bowl. Only thing, the bathrooms needed stocking with basics like soap so you can wash your hands.
We used to love McAllisters for the good food and friendly service but we won’t be eating there again after our last visit in Summerville this past Saturday. Walking in the restaurant looked filthy, with tables not cleared and napkins all over the floor. My wife’s nachos had an old piece of chicken and a piece of dust on her plate! My knife was dirty and you could tell it had not been cleaned properly. If the standards are that poor in the restaurant itself, it makes you wonder about the standards of cleanliness in the kitchen. My wife gave feedback to the store via the website and she got a generic reply from a manager, which was full of excuses about new managers and staff members not being trained yet and that there is always a risk of cross contamination in their food. Cross contamination is a bit different to old food and dust! Gives the impression they don’t care about the low standards and there are way too many better choices to eat for us to even consider going back. Hard pass on this place
I order a chicken club sandwich with potato salad and It was delicious. Very well prepared and served. The reason why I give 4 stars is because cleanness is very important. The restaurant looked dirty specially the floor. There were a good amount of dirty tables with trash on them and the patio had trash flying all over. It is a nice spot and the food is good but they need to tight it up a little with the cleaning, specially now with this pandemic.
This is my second time coming here after ordering curbside and my order being “lost” or “not in the system” and I have to wait at least 10 minutes before even receiving assistance (both times I’ve had to call in . This time I’m particularly upset because instead of my order being cancelled and refunded it was rushed and not prepared correctly. Pictured is what is suppose to be a chicken caesar salad (slimy and sloppy w/ four slimy pieces of chicken??? and a McAlister’s club (which is clearly missing bacon .
