Food is excellent every time. Service is good most of the time. Delivery is just not the same as eating there. Bacon wrapped hush puppies are amazing. Breakfast has been on point every visit. There are long wait times during busy periods, but it's because the food is worth it.
Things didn't start off the best with the hostess and the lack of respect and customer service can be detrimental to a business. Fortunately after speaking with the Manger and being paired with our awesome waiter things were up from there. Being someone the frequents a diverse share of cuisines, the three meat shrimp and grits definitely left me speechless. The perfect blend of Cajun seasoning on the shrimp, creaminess of the grits, and the perfect touch of heat emitting from the broth...um um. Hats off to the chef and our waiter, you definitely saved this culinary experience.
We dined at Sunrise Bistro on Saturday and the food was absolutely amazing. Now service, that was a different story. Our server wasn 't friendly nor great. I wish I knew her name to warn future customers but she never told us. Either way, the food was so good we came back today (Sunday) and just our luck, we got sat in her section again. When she came to the table, there was no hello, my name is _____ or anything. We got y 'all ready? She literally took our order and checked on us once after our food came (brought by someone else). It 's like she was nowhere to be found. Thankfully Valentino saw us looking and so graciously helped us. He brought our to-go drinks and check. All our server did was come grab it to run the bill. Her service on today was even worse than it was yesterday. All in all, I will be returning but if they sit me in her section again, I 'll request to be moved.
Neighborhood restaurant with a truly southern flair; definitely a meeting place for old friends. Found this place by accident and my wife after reading the menu can't waite to go back. Food was great. Buffalo chicken sandwiches were spicy and the waffles were light and fluffy. The country fried steak Benedict was very rich with Hollandaise sauce and sausage gravy. Sitting on a bed of greens with a perfect biscuit this meal was big enough for two. Friendly staff that always had a big smile helped put a smile on your face. Looking forward to our next visit.
