The Vineyard wasn 't on our way but looked too promising not to go. So we made our way to the little town of Summerville. I was a little worried as the town is so small it didn 't seem like it would have a vegetarian joint. Boy was I glad to be wrong! This place is mostly vegan (does use honey in some recipes so if you don 't eat honey be sure to ask! and entirely vegetarian. I had the Summervillian cheese steak and was very impressed with the seasoning and the quality of the cashew cheese. My husband had the tofu burrito and immediately asked if I could try to make tofu eggs like that at home. We both also tried the fresh pressed juices and were astounded. Even the ketchup is fresh made. The atmosphere is very friendly and the owner struck up a nice conversation with us. It 's very clean and very affordable as well. We got 2 juices, 2 entrees, 2 smoothies, and 2 to go entrees for under $50! I highly recommend this for vegetarians and non vegetarians alike. We will definitely be back even with the hour drive it is from our home.
While we visited mentone, we checked happy cow for a plant-based restaurant. to our surprise we gave this here. decor was attractive and the food was delicious. we will visit again.
Amazing! I'm going through rural Georgia. there is hardly a cell cover. Confederated flags hanging everywhere and everyone I see wears camo. then I stumble over the most charming vegan restaurant. the atmosphere is charming, and eating is some of the best vegan food I ever had. the restaurant is guided by a loving family that has taken over the mission to eat this grill part of the world over the healthy aspekte of eating vegan.

I had no expectations to find vegan food in summerville, but I had a chance and was also happy when this restaurant appeared on happy cow! the couple that opened it in february is super sweet and, as they homeschool, they will probably also meet their children.
