I went here with my dad for dinner. I had the eggplant Parmasan. The eggplant was the most tender I've ever had. The pasta could use more sauce. Our server was having a rough night due to a rude customer at another table. She is new to serving and young, and I imagine not used to people being nasty to her. People, be kind to your servers, especially if they are new and young. My dad is a regular at this restaurant. He enjoys the food.
Breakfast had a funny taste, especially the eggs and hashbrowns. We will not go here again for breakfast.
Met up with an old friend for dinner. No hostess to seat us yet many servers passed us by and ignored us. Tempted to just seat ourselves because it wasn't busy yet we weren't being acknowledged. Finally a server asked if we had been helped and apologized. So I'm feeling a little better. The food was brought out served with a limp, discolored leaf of lettuce that looked like it was meant for the trash. I had ordered the breast of chicken, fried. It was a fried chicken patty, I would not have ordered it, if I knew it was a patty. I was trying to just enjoy the experience with my friend, so I was trying to look past things. The server came and asked how everything tasted before we even put anything in our mouths. We kept being interrupted by other staff to remove our plates while we were still eating. We were trying to catch up on each other's life yet staff kept coming over interrupting us just to remove plates that we were still eating from. It got to the point that we just asked for the check. The server gladly agreed then grabbed my friend's plate while he was still eating and rushed away to get the check. We were treated just plain rudely and will never return. I've been a server and I know how to get customers in and out. Their way is so unkind and disrespectful. On a good note...the baked potato was warm. I only ate a piece of that salty fried patty. The piece that was far from the rotten lettuce. I wish had taken a picture to prove the piece of rotten lettuce that they put on our plates.
I brought my son and his friend in for a steak dinner while in town for a baseball tournament. They enjoyed it so much, they begged to come back the next night. Mary Ann, our server knew how much they loved the bread the night before, she gave them an extra serving on night two. The whole way back to Canada they kept asking how we could open a Tivoli Garden in Niagara Falls…..Thank you for fueling up the boys for the big game. Hope to see you again. Geoff, Markus, Declan.
