Joice of food was good however the only items that was hot was the beverages. Very disappointing. Refurb nice but carpets needed a hoover to remove food crumbs. Won't be rushing back.

Spur of the moment decision to visit as unable to decide what to have for tea. Fairly busy on arrival, seated quickly and ordered drinks. All decided on 2 course with carvery do able to get food easily. Usual selection of meats Beef, Turkey, Pork and Ham. Big Yorkies, mash, roasts, carrots, swede, cauliflower cheese, broad beans, mac n cheese and then stufging and crackling. Tasted completely different to a Sunday and not having to wait for replenished items a bonus and tasted fresher. Keep the Sunday fare, we will return through the week in future. All had a different desert Apple n Plum Crumble, Strawberry Jam Pudding and a Brownie. Thanks to Ellie for looking for looking after us and see you soon

Service is terrible we sat at our table for 10 mins before even being offered a drink the waitress was stood talking to friends she had on another table. Chef was too busy flirting to serve. The food was lovely but the service appalling .

2nd time here for a carvery but today was dreadful prawn cocktail was dry and the gravy was thick and tasteless sauces ran out I couldn't be bothered to wait for refills as I'd stood 10 minutes for my dinner don't think I'll br returning sorry
