Both were very delicious but the ribs didn't have much meat on them and were very difficult to eat without making a mess and didn't have a place to put the bones so we had to sacrifice a couple of side dishes. They also make a kimchi fried rice from the leftover broth. Servers are very kind and can see their smiles through the masks despite being very busy. Beer wasn't on the menu but there were a few lagers to choose from including soju. Very busy on a Saturday evening so expecting a wait for the first come first serve queue.
The specialty at Jangtu Restaurant is a hearty soup made with Korean blood sausage and mixed offal. While it might not sound appealing to most, it is a traditional and delicious meal from my hometown in Korea. The broth is incredibly savory and has a rich, satisfying flavor. During my last visit, we also tried the steamed pork belly with oysters, which was excellent. The oysters were fresh and the meat was tender.
A small mom and pop Korean restaurant. It is small, but authentic! The service is a bit slow today, we waited a long time for the kimchi refill and tea. But I guess it might because they have a full house and a big group gathering. Other than that, everything is spot on. The food is nice as usual. The two of us is about $65.
I had a great experience at this cozy Korean restaurant! The lunch specials were affordable and the food was delicious. I tried the sizzling beef dish, which had a tasty combination of soy sauce and sesame oil. Although the quality of the beef was not the best, considering the price, I had no complaints. The complimentary appetizers were plentiful compared to other Korean restaurants. The service was attentive and friendly.
Damn good food. Nice and spicy too!! Friendly staff helping out us non-Koreans on my food and drink selection .
