Unfortunately, the food is now very poor, old fashioned Indian and everything is spicy hot. In August we had a pasanda that was too hot for my partner to eat and a very hot prawn puri. Trying it again this week (hoping it was a one off) it was worse. Examples. The chilli paneer used to be hot (I like it reasonably hot), with soft, white paneer in a very light, almost non existent sauce, with trimmings. Now it is overcooked paneer in just a thick, brown sauce. Prawn puri was previously mild and light with thin, light puri. Now it it is a thick, brown, hot sauce on a thick, brown, tough bread, which I couldn't eat. We gave the place a second chance, because anyone can have an off day. It's a shame, because it really was a brilliant takeaway before.
In my opinion it tastes like either sauces are kept hot and added or nuked just before sending out My starter was bland, prawn puree Mains okay at best, rather like school dinners or army food, I would be surprised if anything is cooked to order from scratch but portions good, okay if you are not expecting better This is the second time I have ordered recently I thought the first might be a one off unfortunately not, I won't be using again until it changes hands or they wake up that people are not going to waste their money
Always very good food. Been working my way through the chicken veggie menu, not been disappointed.
We were looking for a new takaway resturant because had closed for a refit. the food and serv ice was great. we will be going there again
Ordered take away for collection, my order (chicken Bhuna and lamb biriayani) was cooked in front of me. Delicious. Thinking to offer them to teach me some of the curry dishes, so that I sometimes can cook at home.
