The staff is always friendly and they know to serve my coffee in a takeaway cup. It can get a bit noisy due to the busy intersection of Bridge St and Pitt St nearby, but that's where all the action is. The cafe is set back from the street and the recent renovations provide more protection from the noise of Pitt St.
I adore this restaurant. The staff is friendly and they recognize the regulars. The food is always fresh and prepared on site. I visit at least four days a week.
There are more than plenty options in Sydney CBD when it comes to coffee. It is a bit tricky to get my double shot extra hot flat white in the consistency I like from cafes. The team at GG, regardless of who is making the...coffee always get it right. I am seriously and pleasantly surprised by the consistency I get from GG. Always excellent. Very friendly staff and excellent service as well. I haven't tried their food though, therefore am rating them for coffee only.
Here for breakfast on Christmas Eve. We lived nearby, and that was the first café we came over. Also the food worked well (Avocado smash) and the coffee was nice and hot and also good. Prices are very reasonable... compared to other places we checked later. Service was friendly and efficient, and one of the staff gave us some good tips for tourist activities during our stay in Sydney.
Being a New Zealander, it was tough to address the "4 more years" restaurant, but the coffee I had today spoke volumes. It was the best coffee I've had in Sydney so far, and the staff were absolutely lovely.
