I ordered the salmon, and unfortunately, it was cold in the middle and almost undercooked. On the positive side, it had crispy skin, and the thinner parts were cooked just right. Despite this, I’m still inclined to return, as the atmosphere and service are excellent, and I've enjoyed other dishes here in the past.
Excellent downstairs cellar where you can get some quiet and privacy.
We enjoyed a wonderful casual business lunch with delicious food, a fantastic atmosphere, and reasonable prices. I'm already excited for my next visit!
Excellent food with good service which is unusual in Sydney city. The prices are not cheap but are reasonable value for the really good Italian food.
I'd been here twice in a day. First for breakfast upstairs I had the poached eggs and bacon. The eggs were on the cooked side rather than runny. Doesn't worry me, though other people may prefer runny. Bacon was fine. Coffee I found a bit variable and more on the light rather than bitter robust. My companion had the omelette for the second time in a week which was fine. Lunchtime is more of a star in having Italian dishes. My colleague and I both had the chicken and mushroom risotto. This was my second time in two weeks with the risotto. Last time, I found the rice slightly underdone. This time it was perfect slightly creamy. The chicken was larger bite sized pieces and likewise the meaty flavoursome mushroom. Green salad was green salad could have done with a variety of leaves. The downstairs (basement) room has a bar feel and is a great space with retro modern decor. A relaxing place for lunch with excellent dishes and attentive service.
