I loved all of the support for other local businesses, authors, and creators around the store. It's bigger on the inside than it looks from the outside. All parking is on the street so be mindful you might have to walk depending on when you visit.
Best corned beef and rye I’ve had this side of NYC!!Friendly people, warm and welcoming.
Best cheesesteak i have EVER had. Such a friendly staff and great vibes on the outside patio for a beautiful day! Recommend 100%!
I’m not sure it’s possible to fully enumerate all the wonderful elements of Leeward Market. This location is such a hub for community. Every time I come in, Michelle or Jeannie is having a deep, meaningful conversation with a regular (while taking orders and keeping the line moving, to boot). The place is teeming with local presence—there are books by local authors and pastries by local bakers all on display; it feels like a real salmagundi of Eastport. And I myself have been the beneficiary of Leeward Market’s support of local businesses; Michelle kindly allows me to keep cards for my pet care business near the dog treat station.I’ve never felt rushed or unwelcome here, even though it can get quite hectic during morning and lunch rushes. And the food is always plated thoughtfully and thoroughly scrumptious! My favorites are the spinach salad and house bagel chips. ?It’s a real gem of a spot, a beloved emblem of Eastport. I highly recommend anyone stop by if you want to feel warmly welcomed and fully satiated.
Good food and a quick walk-up for a dozen of farm fresh eggs.
