The people were super nice and the food was tasty. Inside is as cute and cozy as you'd think. For lunch, you can order off the bar or menu.Catfish, okra, mac and cheese, cornbread muffin, turkey club sandwich and sweet tea are some of the items we ordered. Everything was cooked perfectly.
A wonderful breath of fresh air and reminder to slow down and enjoy good food with good company. Staff is so charming, place is clean, and the sweet tea is flowing. My family is from Sylvania but I had never eaten at Pop’s Kitchen before. Now it will be our go-to. Thank you for great food and excellent service.
Not from Sylania, but my wife and I were passing through and decided to try it out for a quick lunch. Wonderful small town atmosphere that is getting harder and harder to find these days. The staff was smiling and very friendly. The food was delicious. The fried chicken was juicy without being greasy, the mash potatoes seem made in-house and not out of a packet, the mac-and-cheese was also very good. The drinks were fresh and cold and all-in-all it was a very nice visit. We plan on going back sometime soon.
Reminds me of my home so much. Great chicken, the best fried okra, and the mac cheese is amazing. They're super friendly and it's nice and clean in there. I go here regularly.
Best place in town for a bite to eat. Love coming here, got lots of desert choices if you wanted it, lots of seating. if you're looking for a place for country style food, it ain't to
