Brunch is always the answer. The question? Doesn’t matter LOLRolled up here with one of the kiddos for a college visit and thought how could we go wrong eating copious amounts of food off of boards? Two people with two boards was PLENTY! I would recommend hitting this place up with a group to be able to try more and just eat more in general bwaaaa! I’m a fan of randomness on a board! I enjoyed the variety…we had the breakfast poutine and the griddle board. I think I would’ve like some sort of meat board in my life…but opted for a sweet and a savory board option. Nothing was overly amazing or terrible, I enjoyed the concept!Cute spot and they have some tables outside as well. Could see coming after work with some friends or having a girls outing!
Unique place that was a lot of fun to eat at!If you are in Clinton Square, it is a must try!
We finally went to board and bar charcuterie for breakfast and tried the griddle board and it was delicious! It had red velvet pancakes, salted caramel waffles, French toast, oranges, strawberries and grapes. Food came out fast and our waitress was attentive. We also got the hot chocolate flight they were all iced coffee and a pink cranberry mimosa. Food was great but prices were a little more than we would have thought. This was fun to try out this once..maybe would be better if you went with a group of people since it's shareable boards!
We wound up here on a Wednesday night, around 7PM or so. Found parking easily in front of the restaurant the street it's on, I think parking is pretty readily available unless there's something going on downtown. We were the only ones in the restaurant.Service was impeccable the entire time we were there. The staff was very welcoming and professional. For drinks, I couldn't resist the s'mores old fashioned. This was absolutely the right choice. It came topped with a roasted marshmallow and a graham cracker rim. It was smokey and bold and indulgent, the perfect winter drink. Some s'mores cocktails are overly sweet but this was the perfect middle ground, neither too strong nor too sugary. My dining partner and I opted for a caesar salad starter board apiece, and shared a warm brie board. I was leaning towards trying the baked potato board, but when I asked if we could get it without meat I was told there were no adjustments to the boards allowed. I get why the restaurant might opt to have that policy, but I think that if they want to go that route they should offer more vegetarian options besides the standard cheese board. (Also, I checked the menu before coming and they'd had a fish taco board I could have eaten, but the in restaurant menu was different, so I guess it wasn't up to date. The salad was absolutely gorgeous. Super aesthetic plating, and tasty! The warm brie was indulgent and paired very well with the bread, fruit spread, and caramelized onions. We were debating on getting the dessert board but thought it would have been too much. Overall, a very nice dining experience. The cocktails are first rate, and this is a great place to come if you want to nibble and share with a companion or two. Would definitely love to return for their brunch boards sometime.
