Mimi's Cafe - ta

Our favorite restaurant so was so happy to find one near our hotel. Everything is always delicious never a disappointment.

Pot pie is a total rip off. For $20 you get a childs portion of chicken soup with a puff pastry thrown on top. Turkey dinner was okay. The gravy was really watery but had a good flavor.

Pain Perdu with Mixed Berries had little to no filling. Some spots of bread were dry

The Cobb Salad was decent, although the lettuce looked slightly yellow. Toppings were great. The Tomato Basil soup was delicious! Definitely the highlight of the meal. I was very disappointed in the Lemon Layer Cake. It tasted good but the portion was miniscule. Not sure if you can tell in the picture, but the slice was one inch, maybe 1.5 inches wide... for $11. At $11 per slice, Id expect a hefty slice of cake (or an entire cake, to be honest). This was finished in about 5 bites. Quite disappointed in that part of the meal.
