The only one who seemed friendly was our server. If that was all, I wouldn't mind, but the food was awful. We waited close to an hour for our appetizers to arrive and our entree order to be placed. The appetizer was okay, it didn't taste like boar but it was decent. The entrees were meh at best. I ordered the highly recommended chicken sandwich which was burnt and did not taste good besides. My boyfriend ordered the cheeseburger which was lackluster. The dessert was good but that's solely because I prefer the crust of tarts and pies to fillings. If you want filling in your peach tart, this would have disappointed you (the crust was delicious though).Overall, it was an expensive disappointment. There's much better places in Tacoma you can go.Vegetarian options: They had many vegetarian options available.
I was just served cold wings. The server (white female with long curly black hair) said it was cold sauce. I asked her to just take them. She offered no solution and is on her phone behind the bar. Pretty bad service and food. Hopefully others get a little more invested service?
Yummy food. First cocktail was not so yummy. When i told waitress i was not enjoying it, she insisted i order a different one that was to my liking and took the first off my bill. Very kind.
Food was good, maybe would have been great, but it was all cold. This restaurant is a combo of self serve and delivery to your table. Nice idea when slow, but when busy like this morning, it means cold food and even worse, cold coffe.
Love the cocktails at the lounge!! They never disappoint. The food on the other hand… I ordered the “tear and share” and the meat-to-bread ratio was waaaay off, needs more bread for sure. Our group shared the duck mousse deviled eggs and our general consensus was “just ok”. We liked the confit crisp the best, but the mousse and the pickled carrot didn’t mesh well. My friend ordered the pan seared fish and it was nearly impossible to eat without making a mess because it was served in a small bowl that nearly overflowed with all the veggies. Perhaps a plate would be more appropriate for this entree? I think the menu could use a few “basic” bar food additions, the menu is pretty small and a bit pretentious/expensive.
