I especially loved the scones and the creme brulee. The portions were generous, and I left feeling very full and satisfied. It's nice that you can order drinks other than coffee or tea. The location is a bit far, but it might be a nice drive. One downside was that we had to take off our shoes and the slippers provided for changing were not very clean, so that's a minus one. In these times, I don't like wearing slippers that someone else has worn. In the summer, with sandals and bare feet, those slippers might be a problem. Otherwise, everything else was perfect.
The atmosphere, staff, and food are all amazing! They offer Afternoon Tea Lunch only on some days, and regular lunch on other days, so it's recommended to confirm when making a reservation. The set menu with meal, dessert, and drinks (all for 700 yen) for 2,400 yen including tax is a great deal.
I never would have imagined that there would be such a stylish cafe surrounded by rice fields and mountains in the town of Togo. You can choose your favorite seat and enjoy a meal in an antique exterior and interior. I reserved the Afternoon Tea Wagon for 2400 yen.
