Excellent restaurant, great food. Mrs Kim is the absolute best manager. My favorite eating place.
I was served pamcakes that were old and overdone. This location does not compare to other Village Inns I regularly visit. When I brought the overdone, stale pancakes to the attention of the waitress, she did not say anything. So, I asked if they could be replaced. Instead of picking up my plate, she just announced to the kitchen she also needs another short stack of pancakes. The second set of pancakes were served to me after waiting 10 minutes. They were delicious, fluffy and cooked perfectly. Unfortunately, I had already eaten my eggs and bacon served to me previously so they wouldn't get cold. So, I did not enjoy my food together.
I don't know who the new cooks are but the last 2 times I have ate here the food just wasn't pleasant as it use to be. My grits were cold and thick and the patty sausages just doesn't taste the same. Bring back the old village inn please ! I don't think I'll be coming back !
We come here during weekends, and we usually go to Village Inn by Capital Circle, but it gets busy there in the morning, soo, I thought of driving here (Village Inn Park Avenue by Magnolia) coz I really want to have that “corned beef” (from their Reuben sandwich) with my over easy eggs and has brown
