Big John's Alabama Bbq - Tampa

I’ve lived in Florida since 2014 and have never found any good bbq until yesterday while driving past this joint. I was skeptical at first but after seeing the crowd I said what the heck. OMG I’m I happy I stopped by. I’ll definitely be back soon.

This was my 2nd time here it was absolutely fantastic! I love the sausage, I get extra so I can have lunch the next day. But it all great! Worth the drive from Valrico!Parking: This place is always busy so it's kinda hard to find a spot to park sometimes

Authentic Alabama style smoked right in front of you. Great sides. Will be back over and over. Be careful of that hot barbecue sauce!

I ordered from Uber Eats and the food arrived promptly. It was tasty, but they forgot a part of my order. I’m giving a lower rating because I called several times and they didn’t answer. Their customer service is lacking.

I'm not giving a negative review, as the place was clean and the woman at the register was very nice. The food had good flavor, but when I think of smoked meats, I envision fall-off-the-bone ribs and melt-in-your-mouth beef sausage. The sausage was good, and the pie was great, but the chicken was a bit overcooked. For the price, the portions weren't quite enough; I only received one rib for $32. I'll stick with Konan's and Buba Q for now. It was okay, but not for me. Please cook the ribs a little longer next time. Thank you for the kind service!
