This is not condescending, but rather a compliment. Many pubs have lost sight of what it means to be a true pub. Julie, Boz, and their staff all extend a warm welcome. They offer a great selection of beers that includes European lagers and traditional local ales, rather than focusing solely on hip and trendy craft ales. The wine is served in beautiful glasses, elevating the experience. Julie's food is delicious, especially the outstanding Sunday roast and diverse menu not commonly found in pubs today. The kitchen staff avoid the use of food pings, demonstrating a genuine effort to provide high-quality home-cooked meals that never disappoint. The pub features a beautiful sunlit garden with custom furniture and a Mediterranean-inspired deck area covered in natural grape vines, creating an ambiance that transports you to another place. Sundays are particularly enjoyable at The Diamond, with a variety of home-cooked roasts, drinks with friends, and the entertaining meat raffle hosted by Boz. The pub exudes a sense of tradition and unity, something that many other pubs lack. Julie and Boz continuously strive to offer diverse events and entertainment throughout the year, earning them the love and support of their customers and contributing to their success. If you have a bucket list, be sure to include a visit to The Diamond!

We had a really enjoyable and relaxed evening in The Diamond last night. A lovely welcome from the staff, superb food cooked and prepared by Julie. All topped with a great pint of beer and glass of wine. Thank you everyone, it felt like having a comfort blanket wrapped around me!
OMG..went for a quiet drink with my daughter on a Monday evening and found we were in a bookies. The racing was on the TV and every race the TV was turned up full as the 10 or so people discussed their various bets....was told that there had to be racing on the TV as there was no football! If you like horse racing, this place is perfect for you..if not...take some earplugs...The choice of beers were good though
