El Jefe Tacos Sushi Tempe

This is my first time ever complaining about the food here. But the meat wasn't shredded in the tacos I got. I had asked them if I can get new ones they did but then had a lot of the skin of the meat in there. And I had asked for the owner or manager and I end up talking to the son instead. But said he had a problem with my husband before and me and him are one. How is that fair to me that you have a problem with my husband and so now you can't do nothing for me because ofthat. I loved your barria tacos until today. I hope you guys can fix this problem

First time Trying El Jefe And it was So Good ! The chicken El Jefe Nachos Was Great very flavorful, I like How They Give You The cheese in a separate container and it?s hot so u can pour to your likings ! Customer service is great also will definitely be coming back in the future thanks

Excited to try this new Mexican food place in Ahwatukee. Nicely greeted by staff cooks. Not a drive through taco shop with the standard fare. Menu includes Baja fish shrimp tacos, street tacos, birria tacos, rolled taquitos (chicken potato), quesadillas, and build your own burritos, bowls salads. My wife ordered a burrito with Pastor and many toppings... she couldn't get past the heavy salt taste to the meat. My Baja fish shrimp tacos were excellent! CornTortilla Quesadilla w/Pastor was too dry... meat was too salty. Rolled Taquitos (Potato) were okay... made better by cooking them for the proper length of time. I will say that a big shout out goes out to El Jefe's liberal use of toppingsadded free to any of the food items... thus creating tasty little salads. Green red salsas we tried hit the spot. I'll try this place again... without my wife. I give every place at least 2 visits. I've been a Mexican food eater for55+ years... not quitting now!

They have the best queso! It's odd and amazing that you can get Sushi and Mexican food at the same restaurant.

I've had the SushiBreakfast burritos Stake and shrimp burritos Amongst other things and it was all out of this world.
