The etouffee was better than the pasta, but it lacked enough crawfish tails and they were very small in size. They were even smaller than your pinky nail. I doubt I will be returning to this restaurant.
This was our first visit to this restaurant, recommended by a friend. The food was absolutely delicious and the staff was incredible. It was a fantastic experience overall. The cocktails for adults were also tasty. We highly recommend trying the food here, as the spices really enhance the flavors. We are excited to come back to Voodoo Daddy again in the future!
I recently visited a restaurant in Tempe, AZ that was inspired by New Orleans. Overall, it was a satisfactory experience. Being a fan of New Orleans cuisine, I have high standards when it comes to the food. The Cajun shrimp lacked the bold flavors I was expecting but still tasted good. I enjoyed the grits and fries as well. However, the beignets were undercooked and too heavy. On the other hand, the drinks were delicious. The decor of the restaurant was spot on, capturing the essence of New Orleans perfectly. I truly felt like I was transported to the vibrant city while dining there.
The food was delicious and the atmosphere was perfect! There was live jazz music playing and the outdoor seating was ideal for us and our dogs. Despite the heat, the patio felt comfortable and our server was very attentive, even providing water for our pups. I highly recommend this restaurant!
When I picture Cajun cuisine, I expect bold flavors. Unfortunately, the dishes we tried were quite mild and just okay. The live music on Friday night was too loud and made it impossible to have a conversation. Overall, it was disappointing.
