Contribuer aux commentairesArrived for Sunday for reservation. Was told to sit anywhere so why ask for reservations. The music was extremely loud. The waitress told us with attitude they did not have lamb chops, steak, or lobster for brunch. The food and drinks we did order was subpar. Won't be going back.
First let me say the concept is nice and the waitresses were really nice and attentive. Ok now with that being said…. It opened at 11 and our party was the only ones there at 2:30 and they were out of Champaign. Then they didn’t have stuffed French toast but had French toast sticks which was not on the menu. Secondly they didn’t have steak or syrup. They had to go get the syrup and Champaign. My thing is how don’t you have you what you need for the BRUNCH you advertise. If they would put just as much time into preparing for the guests that booked and paid a deposit for an event as they do dj’ng and singing the establishment would be decent. Make it make sense. I’m all for supporting but come on now.
Ugh, this deserves a 2, but the hospitality and the server was so good. The DJ was also good! She didn’t blast us with rap at first, she laid the R B on thick for us! I’m going to make an assumption that they weren’t prepared for the crowd they got. Cons: -We didn’t find out that they were out of things until they came to bring other friends their food. You should know what’s on your menu ahead of taking orders. -The stuffed French toast was just French toast sticks with fruit sauce on the side. -Plates we served without all the sides. -Friend ordered steak, but 6 of the 7 people had their dishes already before they came out and told her that and asked for another dish option. We were here at that point for an hour and a half. Pros: -Free hookah til 3PM the hookah gentleman made sure he changed your coals your hookah was hitting. He clearly explained that the free hookah stops at 3PM. -Our server was professional and helpful -The vibe was really good. I danced and ate, and didn’t feel shamed for it or have folks cutting their eyes. -Free parking! -First come, first served. -No strict dress code. This mattered because all of my clothes are packed up for a move and my bestie came out of town last minute to help me in the house, so brunch was a last minute invite and we were dressed down (think t-shirt and shorts). Overall, I’d come back to give them another chance!
For those like me that didn 't know, the lounge and restaurant are separate. I related this place to 'bar and grill ', and that is INCORRECT. After midnight, NO FOOD. They are in two totally separate areas. We got to the lounge, asked if there was food. Girl said maybe. Paid the cover, went to go order food (or so we thought) girl at the bar directed us "to the other side) which we walked past leaving the car and it was closed. Geez man I gave 4stars on food because I haven 't tried it yet and plan to give it shot.
A whole vibe. If you want some music, hookah, food (until 1030p), reservations highly recommended.
