Food definitely didn't let us down.Food: I was definitely taken hack by the broth. Nice and light but packed with flavor and not in a strong way either. It was pleasant. The meat could be more tender and bigger pieces, but it tasted great. The MVP and star of the show was the Bone Marrow. It was a wonderfully seasoned and decadent touch to have when you want a slight change of taste. They have a huge lineup of great things to try and will definitely come back and try more items. Everything seemed authentic and worth it!Customer service: I thought the service could go up just a notch. If I mention to you that my wife and I will be sharing 1 pho, then it's probably a good idea to bring 2 spoons. Maybe also after about 10 minutes, come back and see if we need anything else.
Get. The. Garlic. Noodles.Wow that dish was amazing. I got the shrimp as protein but my friends said the chicken was really great too. So goodI saw someone at another table eating the crispy crepes and told myself I gotta try that next time.We came for lunch and the place was packed. So service took a little while, but it was definitely worth the wait
Enjoyed our dinner here with their modern take on Vietnamese cuisine. We had the banh bot chien which had a nice balance of flavor and texture. The Chinese sausage provided the saltiness to the dish. The banh canh cua was ok. The pancakes themselves had nice crisp texture. The pork meatball fish sauce was off-putting. Texture of the meatballs were dry and tasted off. The fried fish was done really well. Crispy Skin with soft meat went really well with the banh hoi and fresh herbs. Great way to finish our meal.
I would like to start off saying that this restaurant definitely has a nice interior aesthetic and a very nice atmosphere. However I find the service and food to be fairly lacking. I was excited to stumble across this restaurant over several social media platforms, and had high hopes for it. I have been to this restaurant for three different occasions and I would like to say that I have yet to find a dish that I am completely satisfied with. The staff are friendly however the lack of attentiveness for customers is very noticeable. For the price and time it takes to receive the food I expected a little more.
The five stars I gave JAM Viet Kitchen shouldn’t be the only starts they have…(hint, hint Michelin). The staff were unbelievably kind and attentive, and the pho was hands down the best I’ve ever had. They pride themselves on their 24-hour broth you’ll know why once you take that first sip. Deep rich flavor with a smokey jaminess from the marrow, and bright floral notes thanks to the bounty of traditional add-ons like basil, lemon, and jalapeño.Super clean restaurant with a quaintness to it that makes you feel right at home. Can’t wait to go back!
