This time they had to cancel our order because they didn't have the dough for the pizza....WUT no dough!!!!!! But didn't bother to even call, text or email us regarding our order. An hour later I find this out when I called and all the person I spoke with said was I'm sorry, I'm the only person working here tonight...really????? What a joke!!! I will never order from Pizza Hut again, Very Sad and Disappointed, still waiting for my refund though!!!
Here 's an idea: Online app ordering should prevent you from placing an order if the computer-generated pick-up time schedules itself for AFTER store closing hours. Unaware of the change in store hours for this NP location, we ordered a pizza around 8:50p. When we arrived at the store, you can see the TV monitor saying that our pizza was ready. We received an email also stating it 's done. Problem is the door was locked, and staff was in the back closing down the kitchen. We knocked on the door for about 5 minutes to try to get someone to open up. We even tried calling, but only got the We 're closed message. Finally someone came to the door, expressing we 're closed . We said we were just picking up our ready pizza, as indicated on the screen behind him, and on the phone. He mentioned that they didn 't make the pizza because they thought we weren 't going to come and get it. Who orders, and pays, for a pizza only to not come and pick it up??? And if the App allows you to place the order before the store closing, then one should expect that the customer would want the pizza they ordered. To the staff credit, after 25 minutes, they did offer to make a pizza. It wasn 't exactly the pizza we ordered, but we didn 't know this until we got home. My suggestion to Pizza Hut corporate and the the individual franchise locations, get your tech to mirror your store hours so that the user journey isn 't this complicated. If a store closes at 9p, and the time to make a pizza is 15 minutes...then have the App prevent orders to come in 20-minutes before posted closing time. As embarrassing as it is to post a review of a Pizza Hut, I see it as a needed PSA to warn others left with limited dining options.
Either incompetence or dishonesty with workers there. Called store and ordered a Pizza. Asked on the phone if there were any coupons. Late teen early 20 female worker said there were no coupon offers for my order. I gave my credit card details and made the order. Walked in to location and saw coupons displayed on the front desk area that directly applied to my order. Asked worker about it, they said that the coupons aren 't applicable yet... even though the date on the coupons said they were active until the end of the month many weeks away. I said it didn 't make sense, but they insisted. Paid, went home. Got on my computer and started an order on Pizza Hut.com just to check out the coupon. It was definitely an active coupon. So I went back to the store. Those coupons were magically gone off the counter. Another person was there (older male). I explained my situation and he said that the female worker I spoke with was the manager, but she had left for lunch break. He explained he couldn 't do anything about it. I asked when she would be back. He said 1 hour. I waited in my car 1 hour 15 minutes. I went back in, and she was there. Refunded my order finally. I only think I was able to get the difference because I was persistent. Who knows how many other people they overcharged or told some story about coupons not being active . I never will go there again.
Beware the fees they add to your order! My original food total was about $25...but by the time all the fees were added, it was almost $40!! Seriously??? Plus, the pizza arrived barely warm, soda expired 2 months ago and delivery took almost an hour. This was the last time we order Pizza Hut, there are MUCH better options for MUCH lower prices in the area.
Just picked up my order 5 minutes ago, and if you were wondering what those black spots on the photo, it was supposed to be tomato and onions. How can you possibly give a burned product like this to your customers? Didn’t you see that the pie was ruined when it came out of the oven? Your pizza is no longer inexpensive. If you are charging premium now for everything, make sure to provide your customers with quality service and product. Because for some reason, you are unable to provide either. We are working on a refund on our order right now, and I don’t think we should to give Pizza Hut another chance.
