The Star Inn - Tideswell

What a nice pub. the personal was so welcoming and brilliant that it is also dog friendly. the food was incredible! I'm vegetarian and the nut roast was delicious. sticky toffe pudding was also brilliant. we will definitely return, the ambiente was also great! I could not recommend this place enough! thank you.

The first time at the star and what a nice greeting we have with our dog. booked for Sunday dinner with friends who travel to tideswell to meet us. four of us with our dog were shown a beautiful large table near the cozy wood burner. we ordered frying dinner and also steak and Stilton Pie. beautiful home cooked eating and brilliant worth. eating was delicious followed by free whispers when they get sunday roast, lemon cake or chocolate wingcake. it would be highly recommended and can't wait to go back when we are next in tideswell. Fab-Hostings, johnny and his mother are an incredible task, our dog was in its element, stuffed and then brought meat out of the kitchen as tasty. great work

Definitiw 5 star rating here. we broke the opportunity for a meal and while they were fully booked, said the host, he would welcome us as soon as he could. he then led us to one of his regulars at the bar where we had a few drinks and a chat before we ate. the food we had was great, the atmosphere in the pub was really friendly. can't recommend that.

Brilliant pub. we visited on Wednesday, which was pie night. the food was so good that we came back the next night. Fab atmosphere, friendly staff, great beer, tasty house made eating. I would definitely recommend.

Super pub, atmosphere is just perfect for an evening drink and meal. Food is very tasty and worth every penny. Sunday lunch with a free pud before 3pm what more could you ask , all in all a little gem
