Strip steak was nice size, cooked perfectly and tender. Asparagus was good, not much of it. Very disappointed there was no filet mignon offered, though shown online. Will give this place another chance, but not for awhile.
Outstanding service, servers were fast and responsive and Chris Demith is the BEST chef in the Midwest bar none. Recommend Ironwood to all, casual and formal. Had fillet and wife had salmon. Beautiful view over the country side.
We’ve really enjoyed this restaurant. Nice staff and great food.
Not sure if it was just an “off night” but it was 20 minutes after we were seated before the waitress even acknowledged our presence. After we gently made it known that she was not off to a great start, her performance improved. The food was Outstanding! Well worth the short falls of the service.
There were 3 of us that ate dinner the other night... My wife ordered the salmon and my other guest and I ordered the ribeye steak. After waiting about 10 minutes our waitress came to take our drink order... The place didnt appear to be overly busy and it took a while for her to come back with our drinks. She said the rolls were in the oven and would be out very shortly.. After about another 15 mins she came back to take our food order and we asked about the rolls and she said she would be right back with them... When our food came about 20 mins later we asked about the rolls again but they never came.. The food was very good, but we both thought the steaks were a bit tough for being a $60 steak, but they were done perfectly. My wife said the salmon was the best she ever had.. Throughout all this we were never asked if we needed any drink refills or any coffee or anything. All in all the food was good but I think the server may need a bit more training.. she was pleasant enough but was lacking in organization focus. We live in Port Clinton so we dont get down to Tiffin that often but we would like to come back again and im sure things will go a bit better.
