No ribeye, my personal favorite, no prime rib, no filet tips, no burgers, no French fries and a few more items that I can't recall. I settled for the tomahawk pork chop and it was ok. On the overcooked side but edible, veggies were mush, my toothless uncle could've gummed them down, the loaded jojo's were good. Unfortunately, mine was the meal that came out half way decent, my wife wasn't so fortunate. She ordered the surf n turf with crab legs. The first rendition was a unmitigated disaster! She ordered the filet mid-rare, it came out as shoe leather! They did remake it but sent it out rare, better than well done I guess. I'm not sure if this was done as retribution or if the kitchen staff is just that inexperienced or worse? Crab legs were good, a touch overcooked but not bad overall. Her veggies were from the same batch and mush. Not a great first experience and most likely the last. Really surprised and expected much more with the ratings this place has received.
Prime Rib had no flavor salmon was not anything special. More people eating outside because it was cooler as this is an old building with no air or fans. Waitresses dressed nice but some waiters just had jeans shirts hanging out. So apparently no dress code for the staff. Parking: Parking is next to restaurant along river.
The atmosphere of the restaurant is very unique. A very old mill sitting on a senic spot along the river gives the place a good vibe. The food was decent but maybe not up to the standards of an upscale restaurant. The only thing we found disappointing was a portion of the service. After a placing our order with a friendly and helpful waitress our food was served to us by a young man in dirty jeans and a grubby, dirty t-shirt. Not a good look considering that the rest of the staff was dressed appropriately. Wheelchair accessibility: Beware that this is a very old building. If you have mobility issues some parts of the restaurant may be hard to navigate.
Was not busy and waited for 1 hour for the food too come out, food was cold, and drinks are water downed. Slow service.
Great Food Service. The deck overlooking the river is beautiful
