Definitely can say that they have cheaper prices and bigger portions comparing to the U.S. The only negative experience I had is a very slow service by waiters. This place is always half empty but you have to wait a while to get someone for an order.
It 's now called La Vida but seems still be under Andy 's Pizza. Good food in a big variety. Located right in the center, so a good start for the evening. Has free wifi (ask for password). Family friendly. Menue with English translation is a plus in a city with little foreigners. Staff speaks little English. But at least they do.
We chose the place because of its modern looking exterior and interior. We were not dissapointed the restaurant and toilets were clean. We ordered the pepperoni pizza which is supposed to be spicy it‘s not. The pizza was okay but kind of „flat“ tasting. Be aware it‘s cash only, like everything in Transnistria I guess. With the prices being higher than expectet it almost caused us trouble. Btw it‘s called La Vida now.
While the restaurant has pizza in its name, the menu selection is much more extensive. This centrally located eatery serves a number of salads, local Moldovan soups, meat dishes, and local version of strudel stuffed with potatoes, mushrooms, sauerkraut, and blend of pork and chicken. The service is OK waitresses are polite enough but I have not seen one smile yet.
This is a chain in Moldova offering not just pizza, so don't be taken aback by the name. Pretty decent prices and good food. If you're looking for traditional food this probably isnt the place, but the quality is fine if you're looking for food (as they are everywhere).
