Tried their lunch menu. Overpriced and food well below average for Western standards. Something you would have in a public primary school canteen, portion wise as well. Horrendous experience with takeaway set lunch. So much plastic waste. We tried to give them our own lunch boxes to minimise plastic waste. This wasn't an option and not only we couldn't save the planet, we also got charged 500 HUF extra added on to the normal cost of dining in. What a waste on every level.

The food is mediocre at best with the menu not being specific with some of the meal choices. All I can say is the wild ragu soup is full of strong wild mushrooms that are not even shown on the menu at all. The taste is so strong that it can make you nauseous. The other food isn't that great either, with the tartar beefsteak in the starters being absolutely horrible. Instead of made into a paste, it's literally chunks of raw meat that is not pleasant to eat. Also the cucumber salad that was ordered was not made properly, missimg key ingredients from it. Overall it wasn't a great experience with the prices not being the cheapest either.

Service is good, waiters could get some more English skills. Food was great, not much waiting time. We'll revisit next time to try out more from the menu.
