Lowrider Cafe - Toledo

If you’re looking for a great alternative to standard diner options of bacon, eggs and pancakes I highly recommend. I had the breakfast burrito and ask the waiter to pick what went into it it was lovely and I didn’t regret his choices. Highly recommend for breakfast. In fact I’ll be back for lunch another day to get the full experience. Staff were friendly and food was delicious.Kid friendliness: The table next to me had a little baby and the staff were great wide open layout.

The restaurant has very at home vibes and the food is incredibly delicious! You can tell it's made with love! I got the lowrider taco and it was huge!

I was very disappointed with my experience. There were several issues, but I'll highlight just one: serving rice that is burnt is simply unacceptable.

I definitely need to check this place out if they offer lengua or cabeza. I moved here from California three years ago and have explored many restaurants, but I haven't found anything that comes close to what I'm used to back home. It always seems to be the same chicken or beef options, and a burrito is just meat wrapped in a tortilla, topped with red sauce. Ohio really hasn't nailed it yet, so I'm hoping this spot can redeem the city!

I was truly disappointed. I ordered the Huevos Rancheros, but the eggs were overcooked, the beans looked and tasted old, and the rice was burnt. I definitely won't be returning.
