The Pelican Cafe - TOORADIN

My wife and I went to this restaurant for lunch today, a tradition of ours for many years. We were surprised to find new owners at the helm. We waited in line behind two elderly ladies who ordered two rolls and a basket of chips. We decided on a roasted bacon and egg sandwich and a roasted ham, cheese, and tomato croissant to go. Despite the restaurant not being very busy, we had to wait longer than expected. Once we received our food, we went to the park to eat. Unfortunately, my sandwich had a burnt piece and soggy bread, while my wife's croissant was completely burnt on both sides. My wife went back to ask for a refund, which she received. While she was there, the two elderly ladies asked where she was eating. It's safe to say we won't be returning to this restaurant in the future.

Here some family members met for lunch. I ordered lasagne man ordered roast beef roll. even though we had ordered 10 minutes before each other, they first got their lunch. one of our family members had also ordered lasagne, and it was just a frozen lasagne from a super market heated and was not even heated properly. we told the young girl that it was cold and she said rude, I can reheat what was rejected as a family member said that lasagne was terrible. after 45 minutes, my lasagne and nabeby roast beef roller had not arrived yet, so nabeby went to ask why it took so long as it was a lasagne that was just placed in a microshaft and obviously the roast beef had been precooked for its roll. again young girls had hired and said they were almost ready and will not be too long. café wasn't even busy, there were two couples and another family of 4 we decided to just ask our money back how the rest of our family were all done eating. we have gone to this caffe for over 15 years, but since new owners service have taken over and eating is terrible and we will no longer meet here for our family ups .

We ordered two big tee was calculated $7.00 each for godly weather it is small or big it is a tee bag we had fish and chips it was overpriced and not so much of it

Pit keep on the way, stopped an tooradin, several fish and chip shops....sowere gone to another than this. pleasant greetings, but we were only after some damped dimmings...not expensive and nothing imaginative. first they were in a plastic food container in the...Bain- marie .we asked 6..4 only available.or I need to get up and steam 2 more. you could only have fried two. this was indicated twice. when asked how long the steamed had been in bain-marie .. only 2 minutes. well, it might have helped if they had cooked them before, they have steamed! .although these were checked. they were not cooked and cold. I don't even go into the fried sort. I know his only dimming sims... don't buy an overly expensive one. but we would have preferred them at least cooked.

My partner and I went to the cafe for lunch. My partner ordered the steak and I ordered the beef lasagne. The steak was average, nothing special, and the gravy was cold. The lasagne was heated unevenly and I couldn't finish it all. It also had plastic wrap on it that I had to remove myself. I was disappointed as I had a good meal there a few years ago.
