Contribuer aux commentairesA pleasant enough place for breakfast, food was good, coffee good, atmosphere a little ordinary, parking close by, staff very efficient and friendly, and not a long wait for food to come, but nothing outstanding or different to a lot of other cafes Very slow...More
I visited alone to try out the charcoal activated coffee that I had heard so much about from friends and from a very favourable review in "The Chronicle" ( the local Toowoomba newspaper). I was certainly not disappointed! I ended up having two cups. The coffee was absolutely superb. The charcoal is supposed to have many health benefits as well. Lovely staff. Will definitely return.
Friendly and welcoming staff but the prices were too high for what was on the menu and the location of the cafe/city. The byron bay vibe was not a particularly nice one. Apparently this cafe was on point many years ago. #nodeal
Had the breakfast bruschetta and it was lovely. Friendly helpful staff. Good menu. Interesting location.
My girlfriend and I decided on the Engine Room for a Sunday morning breakfast and certainly weren't disappointed with our choice. I was looking for somewhere with a Canadian breakfast and although it's not on the menu as that I just ordered the pancakes and added the double smoked bacon and loved every bite. I can definitely say we will be back. When we first walked in there was a family inside that seemed to think it was acceptable to let their kids scream and annoy everyone else so we sat outside in the courtyard and found it to be a perfect spot to enjoy our autumn breakfast.
