Each and every item on their menu seems tempting! I had the chocolate cake with caramel ice cream. The portions are huge.. Even 2 of us were unable to finish what we ordered. I am definitely going to come back here and try the waffles and crepes.
Cafe Demetre is absolute heaven for anyone with a sweet tooth. The crepes and waffles are delicious, topped with ice cream and white or dark chocolate buttons makes ten times better. I have tried most of their crepes and waffles and loved each and every one of them. The prices are reasonable and the service is great. For anybody visiting Cafe Demetre for the first time i would recommend trying out the Fudgement Day or the Donutella Versace if you like nutella.
I have been to the one near Royal York plenty of times, and not once have I been able to finish my portion entirely! Ice cream, waffles, crepes, and coffees they have it all. My favorite was the one time I had a crepe topped with dollops of ice cream and chunks of chocolate. I do not remember the name, but it was heavenly.
Ordered a slice of the chocolate cake, a slice of red velvet cheesecake, and a side of ice cream on Uber Eats. It was all incredible, really delicious. The red velvet was pretty strawberry-forward which I wasn’t expecting, but it was still great.Portions are gigantic though. One slice would be plenty for 2-3 people. So we’ll have leftovers, which is not a bad thing at all.
>60 for two coffees and a crepe.I get it rising costs and all, which in and of itself is a terrible excuse, but I'd much rather have spent that on dinner.
