Gofres Manneken Pis - Torrevieja

Finally found it and so glad we did, wow! I have never tasted Waffles so good, we will visit again before we go home! Chocolate and whipped cream is amazing.

This place has been going for years and since I was little (laughing at the fact that the logo is a boy peeing to my trips back as an adult I have been enjoying their waffles. Hot, fresh delicious EVERY TIME! I have literally never had a better waffle and quite frankly none have come close. They are proper Belgian liege waffles with scrumptious chunks of sugar scattered in soft, melt in the mouth dough. They have the dough prepared in large trays (this is the jail-worthy stuff suggested in this review title and they make them fresh in front of you in the waffle press. Generally if you're having it plain (which is still yummy! or chocolate they'll give you one straight out of the press and for cream they tend to give you a slightly cooler one. I've had more than one in a night, I'm not afraid to admit it. Now please stop what you are doing and get one of these waffles!

The Waffles or Crepes are always made fresh in front of you. They have a nice choice of toppings or fillings available in sweet or savory. When full service can be a bit slow, but that is to be expected when you only have two crepe irons. The taste is nice and I will visit again.
