I was worried that it would take a long time for everyone to get their food, considering we ordered a variety of items from the menu, but it only took about 15 minutes. I was disappointed that the food was not very hot, as I prefer my meals to be piping hot. However, the dishes were nicely seasoned, with a pleasant level of spiciness. The restaurant was clean and provided a peaceful escape from the hustle and bustle of London just outside its doors.
I ordered Masala Dosa. The dosa itself was ok but not very crispy. However, the potato filling was old, it actually tasted off. And the chutneys weren't nice. Both tasted too strongly of coconut and had almost no spices or other flavour. And they both tasted fizzy and bad. The only other thing was a bowl of under-flavoured lentils. Really disappointing
We recently dined at this restaurant for the first time and enjoyed the dosas. The fresh juice was also very satisfying and the server was friendly. However, we found the dessert portion to be quite small. Additionally, the junior staff may benefit from more customer service and math training as they had difficulty with rounding up the bill. Despite these minor issues, we would consider visiting again if we were in the area.
I came in for a drink and to work on a hot day when I couldn't find anywhere else, the staff were very welcoming and helpful, the mango lassi was delicious
We ordered the masala dosa and gunpowder paneer for a late-night snack. We ended up taking half of it home and enjoyed it for lunch the next day. The service was friendly and the meal was a good value for the price.
