Donna Bionda - TOWNSVILLE CITY

Was super delicious! Visit Townsville for the weekend and randomly stumbled over this restaurant. The hotel is located in a beautiful alley with other restaurants / bars and large vibes. The staff was pleasant and courteous, the price was fair and they had some lunch specialties about pasta for $15; can not ask much better than that! We had the Quid Ink Pasta Special and the pumpkin and sage Ravioli and both were delicious. Very recommended!

Beautiful pizza Bianca and the best Shiraz. Long mile through the glass to accompany it. We started with beautiful plump green dug olives in oil. They offer combinations of coffee/red and wonderful sounding cocktails! We returned after three years and the place eve. Better than last visit.

Donna Bionda is the jewel of City Lane. Fast service, friendly staff, clean and comfortable atmosphere. The food was delicious, very recommend the Ravioli! The decor confuses me a little because there are two sitting rooms with the kitchen in the middle and I sat in the smaller left room. Look forward to trying back to try more dishes from the menu!

Both Pizzas and pastas are epic! Can’t go wrong. Lunch specials are always great, the atmosphere is relaxed and the staff friendly. Great spot for a bite to eat and a bottle of wine between friends on a slow Townsville afternoon. This is truely a little gem in Townsville — keep it a little bit secret for me would you??

I would have given this restaurant 5 stars if they had their main dishes available. The service was excellent and the food was perfect. It is definitely worth trying out. They were willing to customize dishes to fit specific preferences. I will be returning and highly recommend it to those who understand that Italian cuisine is more than just pizza.
