Max Brenner - TOWNSVILLE CITY

As always, Max Brenner delivers the perfect hot chocolate. Service Friendly. Sat outside as air-conditioner was set a little too cold inside.

Went for brunch ordered at counter at 10.40 and was served food and drinks finally at 11.30 ! Was only one person on shift with nine people in the restaurant and she was also serving a customer in the choc shop. Was very disappointed that our food arrived before our drinks and that we had to wait for another staff member to arrive at 11 before any orders were started. Food was good however in the crepes they used old brown soft bananas which was disappointing as the waffles had nice fresh bananas. Not sure I'd bother going back again wasn't anything to rave about.

Always is one of our favourite places to stop in and have some delicious treats. Can't be beaten on hot chocolates! Good service always.

This place is a chocoholics delight! Everything on the menu involves chocolate! This isn't a lunch or dinner restaurant this is apres-dinner event especially for a desert and/or coffee (or tea!).I had the chocolate fondue for two except I had it for one and with milk chocolate only no dark chocolate! Absolutely devine. My wife had a waffle and she reckons it was delicious!Too busy with the fondue to worry about disturbing the taste by drinking coffee/tea so just chocolate ... chocolate and more chocolate!Not the cheapest by any means but pure indulgence!

The chocolate at Max Brenner is excellent, but I would recommend avoiding all of their outlets until they stop imposing a 10% surcharge on weekends.
