Came here with 10 colleagues, had a very nice square table and both beginners and desserts were brought to the table. The very friendly owner explained the different wines and after the main course he showed us to the wine cellar for their best white wine.... The main square could be chosen at the buffet and everyone loved it. Overall highly recommended.
We went there on a Friday mid-November. The place was full and we had no reservation, we only got a small bar like table. Because of the huge amount and the small table we had no desire to order dinner, but... choose some finger food from the self-service counter. In the end we paid just as much as for a complete dinner. Service was very slow, we had only ordered wine, perhaps because of the number of people in the restaurant. Wine was very good and we bought a few bottles of Sauvignon blanc to take back home.
This is one of those places where tradition slowly softens trade. It is more a restaurant than a heurer in the traditional sense... But still the wine is good (price crowned) and staff friendly. Garden inside is also very nice, in warm weather... I would recommend sitting there. Prices, in particular for food, are relatively high.
