Dillinger's Pub - Traverse City

The only place in town opened late, which is a plus. But the food was not good, the menu is misleading with the description of the dish. My husband thought he was getting a sub sandwich with a couple layers of meat but no he basically got a BLT cut in4ths. The bartender was not familiar with different mixed drinks. I would not return. EDIT: Thank you for your response isdescribing the CLUB sandwich however there was no triple stack of ham anywhere on the sandwich one slice of everthing.. I didn'tknow leaving a review would get so much of a MAD response from the owner. Reviews are meant to be left so the establishments canimprove different areas.

The good: Cool atmosphere. I like the vibe. Appetizers were brought out quickly and were good. The not so good: LOUD. The music was so loud that everyone had to speak very loudly which made the noise level even higher and there were only about dozenpeople there on a Sunday evening. While we got our appetizer fast, the food took well over half an hour to be brought out. Inthat same amount of time, we were only asked once if we needed anything. My food was most likely forgotten about as theybrought my wife 's food and told us both to enjoy it. They brought mine out a few minutes later piping hot yeah, directlyout of the deep fryer. The honey mustard dip tasted horrible. Not sure what was going on with that, but it tasted like veryold overused cooking oil. My wife liked her chicken tacos. My chicken tenders were bland and boring.

Excellent Perch, fries and slaw, Joe was a great help with his suggestions, service and personality, very comfortable atmosphere, felt right at home , will definitely be back whenever I'm in Traverse City, Great tunes too, Thanks again, Tracyfrom Swanton, Ohio

DON'T DO IT. YOU'LL BE SORRY Sunday Dinner time barely half full. But almost 10 minutes for the server to walk away from the other employees crowded around the end of the bar talking to come take a drink order. He seemed generally bored and notinterested in coming to work that day. Finally returned to take the order and after a considerable amount of time came by torefill just one of the drinks all the others were also empty but he didn't seem to notice so we had point it out. He returnedand said our food would be up in 5 minutes. 30 to 40 minutes later still no food. After finally getting food about an hour afterwe walked in the door. One dish made wrong, most of the plates overcooked and an offer of salsa that turned out to be cocktailsauce. We received the full bill and a hapless eye rolling of an apology. It was time to go. I bet this was a good place at onepoint but I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND ANYONE RETURN

Used to rate this place 5 stars as I never had a problem there and it was my friends and I?s favorite place to grab a drink. Went there this past weekend just to have one of the new bouncers take my boyfriend and my id but not our other friends who werewith us. He then called his manager who put our id?s in his pocket and when we asked why he got in my boyfriends face and wasyelling telling us to call the police if we wanted them back. So not only could we not go in, we also couldn?t leave because wecouldn?t drive without our id?s, we had to call a police officer and stand outside the bar waiting, and the officer came andgave us our id?s back. Really unfortunate experience there as I have always enjoyed going there, their waitstaff is always supergreat and haven?t had a problem until now. But not sure if we will plan to go back there anytime soon :
