Scalawags White Fish Chips

My husband and I dined here last weekend, and it was amazing! I ordered the grilled trout and was extremely pleased with the portion size, flavor, and price—it was absolutely delicious! My husband, who isn't a big fan of fish, opted for the chicken fingers and was just as happy with his meal. The staff was very friendly and attentive. If you're searching for a quick, tasty meal at a great price, I highly recommend this place!

There's nothing charming about this place; you order at the counter and find plastic utensils along with a roll of paper towels on the table. However, the food is amazing—it has the best melt-in-your-mouth flavor I've ever experienced, and the portion sizes are generous!

My wife and I are currently in Mackinac City, and I have to say, they serve the best whitefish I've ever tasted. When you pair it with their coleslaw and hush puppies, it truly becomes the best meal I've ever had!

The best freshwater fishing spot in Michigan, in my opinion. I loved the fish, I had a two-piece white fish basket...big food and great service and atmosphere.

Fish done right. The menu has so many great choices and they all taste great. A must visit when visiting. We enjoyed every bite and wish we could have come back for more but on this trip we were just driving through. Will definitely visit again.
