Unfortunately, I woke up four hours later feeling very nauseous with a stomach ache. I suspect it was either food poisoning or the greasiness of the food that made my digestion terrible. I did not have high expectations for the taste, so I'm not sure why it was necessary for it to be great.
I have been excited to try this restaurant for a long time. We ordered the Frito pie burrito and loaded nachos. The burrito was large and delicious, but I wish it had more Fritos or some on the side. The nachos, although also large, had an odd-tasting cheese that my boyfriend compared to canned or Cheese Whiz. The bite I had tasted like heavy liquid smoke, which was too strong for me. The service was slow, especially when it came time for the bill. Our waitress seemed more interested in her phone than bringing us the check, which sat with our card for about ten minutes. If we ever order from here again, we will opt for carryout.
My friends and I stumbled upon Brewligans while exploring the river and we had a great time. Despite being short-staffed, our server Brooklynn did an excellent job and was very friendly. The food was all delicious, especially the Trojan burger and the Garlic Parm burger which were some of the best I've had in a while. They also had a nice selection of beers. I look forward to visiting Brewligans again soon.
There 's a reason everyone is raving about the food: it 's AMAZING. Been here 5 times, the whole menu is great. Don 't let the small bar feel fool you--this is the best place to eat in town.
Great little bar! We've been in to try brunch and dinner. Both times, we loved the food both times! Staff is friendly too!
