Friendly service, although more like friendly self service. Step inside and order and a friendly service will bring your order out to comfortable tables. It's an Illy espresso bar, not much more. Coffe is excellent as all Illy coffee is. Quick, reasonably priced. Professionally staffed.

The illy owned cafe` is at the heart of Trieste pedestrian area, usually packed with people walking, strolling or just chatting; this place is an example of what a bar should look like and also perform. Doesn't matter how many people are at the counter, the waiters are super efficient, fast as they can get. few times I have seen such a fast espressos serving. I always go there whenever I am in Trieste.
