Maggiano's Troy

Maggiano is not disappointed! great atmosphere, great service and great food!

My husband and I went to Maggiano's for our anniversary and everything was great! The waiter even gave us a complimentary dessert.

We made a. Reservation for 6pm. When we checked in they let us know they were running behind on reservations seating. We didn't get seated until 7:15pm. Once we did get seated the food and service were great, but our first impression left much to be desired.

Had a reservation and wait time was only about 5 min. Good start but that’s where the positive experience ended. We were sat by what I assume was a manager who came back to our table a couple mins later to take our drink order saying our waitress would be with us shortly. She said she would be back with bread and drinks. Back with drinks no bread but promised it was in the oven. 5 min later she returned with bread and said the waitress would be there shortly. Again she returned to check on us and I asked her to take our order. 10 min later our waitress comes by to introduce herself and says our food should be out shortly. We had to ask for bread and drink refills. Our food was delivered warm and correct by different servers. My chicken piccata was terrible. Chicken was tender but mostly tasted of flour. The sauce was watery and the only real flavor was the capers. The waitress never came by to ask about our food. I had to ask a bus boy for a bread plate who brought me a dirty salad plate with dried lettuce on it. Had to ask for our bill. Had to them ask after we paid our bill for our “meal for tomorrow“ dishes. Had to wait 10 more minutes. I will not return to this location.
