You write it is an upscale atmosphere - good for me not at all, very simple and ugly design, extremely simple and un inviting. The food is also a great disappointment. I have lived in Asia and know the food well, but here must say they use terrible quality and the taste is bad. The chicken tamarind was actually added in an industrial finished sweet and acidic sauce with some tamarind. It was really not good. The fried rice was also not good, completely overcooked and bad taste. Service was easy, but okay. Magnificent experience and I cannot recommend this place... avoid!
Out of all the food I ate in Trujillo, this place was the best. Loud though, I really wanted to eat in a quiet place.
This restaurant is conveniently located by the main square of Trujillo. You get a lot of food for a reasonable price, their main plates are pretty big ! Very cheap eating there while travelling, $20 could easily feed 3-4 people. I love their tallarin con...pollo and their wantan frito.
This restaurant in Trujillo, Peru, features a selection of lunch menus that are very tasty and filling (huge portions! for approximately $5 U.S., not including beverage or tip (which most local people don 't seem to leave anyway . The restaurant is very large and clean and...the servers are friendly. There is a diorama near the back with a soothing Chinese mountain scene, including a little pool with live goldfish. We had WonTon soup a big serving, with wontons, vegetables, noodles and pieces of chicken breast. Then, one of us had vegetables with noodles and the other had chicken (yes, more chicken the Peruvians seem to love chicken! with vegetables and white rice. There was more food than we could finish! A good lunch that could easily have been the main meal of the day.
Muy buena atención, la bonita decoración, el arroz de caufa podría mejorar, pero los guisantes principales y los aspirantes son muy ricos.
