Ate here twice during my time in Tulum. Felt safe and did not experience any cross contamination.
Went for dinner and spoke to the server about needing gluten-free food. They told me the chips with the guacamole would need to be prepared with their gluten-free tortilla and that it would take more time. I ordered that and one of the veggie burritos also made with the homemade coconut tortilla. The burrito was wrapped in a leaf, which made made me feel more confident that it was not cross-contaminated. I did not have a reaction but I wasn’t impressed by anything I ate for the price.
Les meilleurs burritos que nous avons mangés de tout notre voyage au Mexique! Leurs gâteaux faits avec de la farine de coco sont excellents et je les ai très bien tolérés! Je reviendrai !
For lunch to try out the gluten-free coconut tortillas, but my Nina gluten tester showed me gluten. I guess there was cross-contamination in the cooking areas. Not recommended for celiac disease. That said they have a variety of juices and smoothies that are all gluten-free. If you want to stop here to relax in the shade and have a drink, this is a beautiful place. I had the watermelon juice and it was delicious. No reactions!
