Gumbo's Bar And Grill - Tupelo

As with everywhere else the food cost to much for what it is. But it has a great outdoor area.

I didn't snap a photo of my entree. But it was very tasty. I had the Chicken and Shrimp Ponchartrain along with a side of steamed broccoli and a Caesar Salad. The salad was crisp. The broccoli was done properly, not watery/squishy. Seasoning on the chicken was flavorful along with the sauce. My server (Zoie) was very pleasant and helpful. I am hoping that my work travels bring me back to the area again soon.

Our server was awesome! Food was delicious! Enjoyed a birthday celebration with the family.

The SERVICE is a -10. Worst service ever. They teach worst service 101 here! Not only did she repeat “anything else” over and over, she couldn’t remember simple things like bring mayo and ketchup for the burger. Our drinks were left empty, we didn’t even get an introduction with her name!!! And the worst thing of all is NO pre-bussing was done AT ALL! So when my husband accidentally spilled the sauce that was with our appetizer, it went everywhere, she had to leave to go grab napkins, which would’ve been prevented if she would’ve pre-bussed. But nope, in and out with empty hands. This place NEEDS some MAJOR training on how to serve properly, because this was NOT it! The food is subpar, club sandwich I can make at home, nothing special, soup is bland, salad was wilted, the egg roll appetizer was actually amazing! But with how TERRIBLE the service was on the patio, no thanks. We won’t be back. That server should be fired and look for a different career path because the service/hospitality industry is NOT for her, that was VERY clear.

Ordered to go and was given a time to pick it up but food wasn’t ready and had to wait 45 extra minutes to get it. Other than that the food is great.
