We had the Italian and Portuguese tasting menu, which was very interesting. We sat in the middle of the restaurant where the acoustics was bad, but the service was very good. I would rate this place to be the best I visited in Torino based on the service itself! Such friendly people. Good at speaking English, helped with the menu, and gave very useful tourist tips. The food was okay. It is a plus to love fish. We booked online it worked perfectly!
Had an aperitif with friends. The menu was creative and tasty. Cod in a myriad of ways! Simply scrumptious! In addition to this nice meal, the place was absolutely spectacular we found just the right balance of friendliness and efficiency. All the staff made certain we had everything we needed in the right time.
We just had a great lunch at Bacalhau. The restaurant was suggested to us by our hotel and since it was the 1st of January which means limited restaurant availability we didn’t expect very much. The location was very residential which also did not scream gastronomic delights. However, we were pleasantly surprised to find a modern premises and extremely friendly staff and more importantly creative manu and a good wine list. The restaurant sources cod from Iceland where the fish is at its leanest and the menu contains traditional Italian and Portuguese dishes with the modern twist. We selected the two degustaion menus one Italian and one Portuguese and enjoyed every single dish of it. The dishes were well seasoned and I particular enjoyed the acidity of tomatos in tortelli. My partner’s Portuguese dishes were excellent too starting from the soup to the cod with egg. Highly recommend this restaurant
