Sushi Garden Ii - Turlock

They changed their Spicy Garlic Edamame recipe and its not very good and some of the fish didn't taste fresh in the Golden Salmon Roll . Very frustrating since they've raised all of their prices but lowered the quality. I miss Sushi Garden II. The owners number one priority was quality in everything.

I love their Super California roll and they use real crab. Delicious every time. I've eaten in also pick up and the staff are friendly and quick to get your order. If you like chicken the Chicken Katsu is superb.

California ia Roll with Fish Eggs wasn't very tasty unfortunately. Super California Roll was okay, not almost $19 okay though . I ordered from here because my regular restaurant was having technical difficulties.

My sushi rice was hard and my miso soup had no tofu and very little seaweed and green onion. The potato salad was not very good and kinda weird.

The sushi and rolls are what you'd expect, but the wait times are ridiculous. I've never received an order within the window of time stated on DD or even close. They have always been at least a half hour late, but a few times longer. When asked for an update, Katana just says they're working on it and don't care. The drivers even say there is a pattern of late-ness. So order ahead if you MUST have Katana.
