This pub had no reason to go to twickenham when I was not obsessed. it is a contrary that I would try in the rule to spoil every given weekend due to the buzzing of jean and sheux, land rovers and gallen carry family entourages spoil every opportunity for a calm pint. So, they beat it if there is no rugby, and if it is predicted to be a more potential crash. prime twickenham stole the weather. I passed by surbiton and at the other end was this pub. Originally an 1837 beer house, clearly renovated in 2011, but kept the *good bones* can sneak after entering. beautiful layout, spacious, courtesy and also a large garden. loosely connected to big smoke, do I think how bricklayers, the lyric and express tavern are?(but in contrast to those who choose the beer here is big, and especially the Cask selection. I might have counted 18? discovered for a pint of windsor and eton pale ale that flew down. it is no easy task to keep so much trembling, but the local pedads seem to always pour in for them, regularly in the gbg, and best suited pub from the exact pint chaser camra crew (no foam plz). I can't wait to come back here. when eating is as good as the other loosely related pubs I am sure that a Sunday Roast meeting here would be unstoppable. Anyway, if you plan to come, strawberry hill probably the best station, it is a kind of indifference between whitton and twickenham. which is always the easiest thing. or you can go.
The sussex arm is a pub near the twickenham green. it is known for its large and pleasant garden. it has a large selection of beer, apple wines and weep. it has a good kitchen and an extensive menu. Sunday roasts are especially well made. we returned this Sunday to enjoy the atn of lamb with fresh vegetables, with custard covered apple cake. it was great.
We reserved a table for lunch with friends and at the arrival I realized that I had forgotten that I was just born and my friend who had joined was strongly pregnant. the assigned table was a bartically with hocker. the lady who was in the service went over and over her job role and was really helpful to find us a new table, also thoughts Sunday and was fully booked! she was so friendly and made our first outing with out baby really pleasant. Thank you! we will definitely come back.
One of my favourite pubs locally, like a beer festival on a bar! Lots of real ale to choose from plus other types and cider. Huge garden with a children's play area and lots of tables with shade. Great place to meet up and talk. The Park brewery (Kingston) beer I had was in great condition, given the hot weather. I really enjoyed the evening there.
