Just ate with friends a couple of days ago. Had the crab cake appetizer. Was very good, with a great sauce. Had the Shrimp Scampi as my entree, and it was amazing. Just the right balance of lemon, butter and FRESH garlic. Simply delicious. Service was friendly and fine. Everyone enjoyed their meal.
Great coffee, and amazing brunch. Had a really great eggs benedict, and my boyfriend had the burger and we were both very happy. A great price too. Highly recommend
Nice hidden spot between Union City and Weehawken, between the Park and Broadway merger. Cute and chic inside. Had a bit of a rustic vibe. Great freshly squeezed orange juice and Lavazza café. The avocado toast is really good, it comes with an egg and fries. Wish they had asked to get salad instead. The salmon eggs benedict were good. The salmon was a tad cold for my taste and the egg was poached but not runny enough. The chicken sandwich came with fries and was really good and tasty. The service is excellent. It just was a tad too hot inside. The A/C may not be efficient enough for the size. Overall, this place is very good, great location, and will be back to try dinner or lunch in the future.
Update July 2019: There have been changes here since my past visit some time ago. The food was delicious and service was pretty good. The eggs benedict was on multi-grain toast vs the traditional muffin but overall better than previous visits and better than most restaurants offer. The side of bacon was great if you do not mind some limp and fatty pieces (I do not . Everyone enjoyed their meal and I will likely be back again and hope the experience can be repeated. Original review: First I would say that my visit here left me conflicted about the restaurant and I'm not sure if I will give it another try. The food was overall good but the service and atmosphere was a bit chaotic. A big reason I was conflicted is there were many things that may have just been situational to today, but then again maybe its always this way. We arrived at least 5 min before they officially opened so they were probably not quite ready for guests but were kind enough to let us in from the rain. I made a reservation on yelp, it may not of been necessary first thing but they were nearly full when we left not quite an hour later. There were at least two large parties that showed up and it became quite loud with people talking over one another. The large parties also resulted in a lot of table shuffling more than once. There were people in training also and not a lot of attention from our main waitress. At least 5 different staff interacted with us but they all had a singular mission that didn't really pay attention to all aspects of dining(provide coffee, pepper, check etc... . I had eggs benedict that was pretty good and had an especially light and lemony holindaise. The canadian bacon was a little thick but still good. My wife had the proscuitto and truffle oil pizza which was also good. I ordered a side of pork sausage which didn't meet my expectations as it was one link of chorizo that was cut in half and deep-fried. We purposely didn't take the table next to the door over fear of a cool breeze but still ended up with a decent breeze that left the potatoes very cold well before i was done. Part of me wants to try more food here and the other didn't enjoy the atmosphere. Update 16 June 2018: I visited again today. Most of our party of six enjoyed the food. One exception was that one egg dish came out completely cold. This was a similiar service experience to the first though a bit more attentive. Strangely both visits it seemed that everyone else was getting their food before us. We were at the door 10 minutes before they opened again and they graciously let us in again. As the first people in we were at least the forth to get served. It was much warmer outside than last time but there air conditioner works quite well making it a little on the chilly side. My wife likes it but the service etiquette puts me off to going again. Love
